i mean, i adore adele and she has an amazing voice, but this is someone who’s admitted to intense anxiety before performing because she’s afraid she won’t deliver, who says she’s projectile vomited before a show, and is not only performing live before millions of people after surgery for something that might have destroyed her voice forever but whose performance has been continuously touted as the highlight of the grammys. as much as i love her, i respect her even more for getting up on the stage and letting us hear her sing.
